Bunyaad Foundation, our implementation partner organized a 3 hour long workshop
with a group of 40 girl students, at India International Center on 3rd July 2015. Hunar is a
project aimed at skilling and empowering women and thereafter leading them to employment in IT and Retail sector. Apart from technical skills, this project is equipped with
workshops on enhancing communication skills and increasing awareness on
Financial and Legal aspects.
The main objective of the project
is to build an overall personality of students who many a times come from a
background which does not support basic awareness for girls. This workshop
helped our students gain knowledge on laws relevant to women and on how to
manage their finances post placement.
The whole activity was a good
experience for all students who participated actively throughout. Sambhava
Foundation look forward to such activities in future.
